Nigel Davies

Nigel began his nursing career in the mid-1980s undertaking a degree in nursing in London where he continued to work predominately in cardiac care after qualifying.  He worked as a chief nurse and director of governance for ten years in acute, community and primary care trusts in the south and east of England. He has maintained links or worked directly in higher education throughout his career holding appointments from lecturer-practitioner to professor.  He joined the University of East London in 2017 to set up their new nursing courses including BSc, degree apprentice and nursing associate programmes.
